Geneva Aviation, a world class systems integrator and manufacturer of specialized equipment for the law enforcement, broadcast and private helicopter markets, is pleased to announce EASA approval for the P122, P132, P148 and P149 Avionics & Switch Consoles. FAA, Transport Canada and Brazilian approvals have been previously received.
The P132 Avionics Console significantly expands the space in AS350 series helicopters for installation of electronic components widely used for law enforcement and electronic news gathering operations. The industry-unique console provides space for a 10-inch stack of avionics components conveniently in reach of the pilot and copilot. The console can be delivered in a standard configuration or customized for specific mission requirements as a ready to install product.
The P122 Improved Switch Console is the same shape and size as the factory original console: however, in place of the low reliability push buttons, all Geneva consoles utilize rugged MIL-STD toggle switches for reliable service. The P148 and P149 consoles, which were FAA approved earlier last year, are expanded versions of the P122 console and are compatible with newer AS350B2 & B3 helicopters with a direct battery bus and instrument panel mounted Emergency Cut-Off switch. Like the P122 console, these new consoles are built on the same framework and provide easy access to all circuit breakers and switches.
