The Tyler ”Universal” Fast Rope Hook & Release is designed to be operated on large helicopters by a crew-member at the door or rear ramp. The hook is operated by a pull handle at the back end of the hook. There is a two-position safety latch for normal operations as well as a lockout pin for training exercises.The Universal Fast Rope Hook can mount to the rear ramp of large helicopters. Large diameter ornormal repelling ropes can be used. The UniversalHook weighs only seven pounds and measures 2” X 6” X 20” in size.

· Attaches to existing hoist & repelling arms
· Independent system adapable to wide range of ships
· Two-position safety release
