(0)Safety Enhancement Kits Flotation Equipment
The Eurocopter EC 120B Emergency Float System is the only float system certified for take off after water landing for the Eurocopter EC 120. The system is compatible with ground handling wheels and the float bags can be removed within a matter of minutes. The mechanical valve system has no squibs or electrical requirements. The cylinder valve assemblies and floats are available as exchange items, thereby reducing maintenance and down time. All float chambers come standard with field replaceable pressure relief valves and inflation valves. The float bags are on-condition and do not have to be returned to the factory for recertification. Factory recertification of the system is available for customers who desire OEM services. Annual inspection of float bags, as compared with six month inspection required in some competitors' products lowers ongoing maintenance costs of the system. This system is approximately 20 pounds lighter than the OEM supplied system.
