The DAS (DART Aerospace) Traffic Advisory System installation increases the situation awareness and the safety of the EC130 B4 series aircraft by providing the pilot a view of other transponder equipped aircraft in the area.
The DAS Traffic Advisory System modification consists of a Honeywell remote electronics unit mounted under the cabin floor, top and bottom fuselage mounted directional antennas, and two annunciators mounted on the instrument panel. The traffic information is displayed on the existing Garmin GNS 430 in the center console.

· Reliable to a range of 40 nautical miles
· Audible & visual pilot advisory alerts of intruder aircraft proximity
· Detects and reports intruder aircraft range, altitude & relative bearing
· Timely updates - less than 2 seconds lag
· Track up to 30 targets (may not display all simultaneously)
· Meets TSO-C147 requirements, equipment class A
