| May 09, 2007 - As improved safety continues to become an integrated component of all helicopter operations, DART Helicopter Services and Cargo Net Innovations Inc, a subsidiary of Canam Aerospace Inc, announce the addition of innovative Fire Resistant Cargo Nets to their existing selection of Plasma Long Line Accessories, Remote Cargo Hooks, Electric Swivels, Seismic Transporter Equipment and Nubbins Heli-Logging Hooks.
C.N.I. Fire Resistant Cargo Nets are constructed using 100% Du Pont 728 Nylon Netting, a high strength, high tenacity, light and heat stabilized material known for its low shrinkage and retraction, fatigue resistance and adhesion properties. During the manufacturing process, the nylon is treated with Granguard NF fire retardant to meet the requirements of the National Fire Protection Association (USA), and has been tested in accordance with the UL 723 Ð Test for Surface Burning Characteristics. Additional properties include
- Single Braided Nylon, certified to Cordage Institute International Standard C1 13123-99
- Load rated for 1500 lbs or 3000 lbs, and tested to breaking strength and working load limits
- Complete with all hardware including pear ring, and 3 double latch safety Landard Hooks.
